Terms of Service
Last updated 22 October 2026
Ferro is an app with AI bots that act for you: they search the web, run commands in their own terminal, use apps you connect and wake up on schedules. It is run by GuusLab (Guus Kaashoek) in the Netherlands. By signing in you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Ferro.
Your account
- You sign in with Nemi. Ferro needs a Nemi plan that includes Nemi AI (Pro, Max or Business).
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what your bots do in the apps you connect.
Bots act for you
- Bots are AI. They can be wrong, misunderstand you or miss things. Check what matters before you rely on it, especially facts, numbers, code and anything sent in your name.
- By default a bot asks you in the chat before it sends, deletes, pays or publishes anything. If you let a bot do such things without asking, you accept what it does.
- Bots and schedules use your weekly Nemi AI allowance. Ferro shows an estimate, but you decide what runs.
Your content
- Your chats, bots and files stay yours. We do not claim any ownership.
- You give us only the permission we need to store, process and show your content back to you, and to send it where your bots need it to do what you asked.
- We do not use your content to train AI models and we do not sell it.
Acceptable use
Do not use Ferro, its bots or their terminals to:
- break the law or infringe the rights of others;
- send spam, or harass, deceive or impersonate people;
- create or spread malware, or content that exploits or harms people;
- attack, scan or overload other systems, or get around rate limits, ours or anyone else's;
- mine cryptocurrency or run long-running services from a terminal;
- resell access to Ferro without our written permission.
We may pause a bot's terminal or suspend an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why when we can.
Connected apps
When you connect an app, your bots use it under that app's own terms. Some connections are limited while they are being reviewed by the provider (for example Google and Spotify); the app says so.
Availability
We work to keep Ferro fast and online and schedules on time, but provide it "as is", without guarantees of uptime, punctuality or fitness for a particular purpose. Settings lets you export your data at any time.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, GuusLab (Guus Kaashoek) is not liable for indirect damage, lost data or lost profit from using Ferro or from what its bots do. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law.
Ending
You can stop at any time: delete your account in Settings. We may stop offering Ferro; we will give at least 30 days' notice so you can export your data.
Changes
We may update these terms. For changes that matter we will tell you in the app before they take effect.
Law
Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.
